About House of Mercy
Who We Are
At House of Mercy Outreach Services, we are dedicated to family preservation and restoration. Our online family mediators and facilitators offer a safe space for families to heal and grow.
Our main aim is to keep children with their parents safely and prevent the need for them to be removed from their home by providing support and resources to address various challenges. We help families overcome those challenges and improve their ability to care for their children by connecting them with financial assistance, job training, parenting classes, and mental health & mediation therapy services.
Our focus is on strengthening family relationships and resolving conflicts to prevent the unnecessary separation of children from the families. We provide family mediation to improve communication, resolve conflicts, enhance parenting skills, and strengthen family bonds.
Our intervention plans are individualized and tailored to meet the specific needs of each family. We take a holistic approach to family mediation. We consider all aspects of the individuals involved to address the root causes of the conflict and achieve the best resolution.
Building Stronger Families Together
Fleurise Davis, LL.M. - Director of Mediation and Case Management Services
With a rich background in professional counseling, she has been a registered mediator with the Supreme Court of Georgia's Office of Dispute Resolution since 2015. She oversees the overall administration and management of court-ordered and private mediation cases. Fleurise Davis is also responsible for coordinating and facilitating the entire support process for the children and families served.
Parent Support
We offer parent support services to provide guidance and support to parents as they navigate through the ups and downs of parenthood. Our family facilitators provide practical strategies and support to address challenges and build stronger relationships with their children.
Couples Mediation
Our couples mediation services help couples improve communication, build intimacy, and strengthen their relationship. Our facilitators work with couples to explore concerns and develop strategies to achieve their goals.
Workshops and Trainings
We provide workshops and trainings on a variety of topics related to problem solving and conflict resolution. Our trainings are customized to meet the needs of schools, organizations, and businesses, and are designed to improve human relations and foster a productive work environment.
Parent- Child Mediation
Our parent - child mediation services are designed to help family improve communication patterns and develop stronger relationships. They focus on helping children and adolescents navigate through emotional and behavioral challenges and resolve conflicts and disagreements with parents. Our family facilitators work with children to build skills and resilience, and support parents in addressing concerns at home.
